The project aims to promote the implementation and promotion of good practices for urban resilience and adaptation at international, European and local level. The project will be implemented till January 2019. The project objectives are:

  • in the course of training increase levels of qualifications of civil protection professionals;
  • active involvement of policy makers and legislators in improving the resilience of the urban environment from disasters;
  • raising citizens' awareness of the resilience of the urban environment from disasters and promoting their involvement in improving the resilience of the urban environment.

Based on the experience gained, 5 organisations and 5 cities from Europe will provide solutions to the resilience of the urban environment to climate-related disasters.
