
Kristaps started his career in the company "Ekodoma" in 2011 as a project assistant, while at the same time studied at the Riga Technical University in faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, in order to obtain a bachelor's degree. So far, he has worked on a number of local and international projects related to energy efficiency in the construction industry and the inquiry of district heating sector (both energy efficiency and fuel switching projects), and have carried out a number of energy audits. Kristaps also has made a contribution to the public's general awareness-raising campaigns in organizing and participating in trainings of Ekodoma.
A master's degree in environmental engineering Kristaps obtained by studying at Riga Technical University and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Consequently with the Master's degree, which he gained in 2014, Kristaps also acquired an energy auditor's certificate and started to work in Ekodoma as a project manager/energy auditor. Currently Kristaps continues his Doctoral studies and also works as a researcher at the Riga Technical University.
